Union Electric (UE), a California-based, design-forward, value cannabis brand, approached Limone Creative to enhance its digital presence, brand personality, loyalty and engagement mainly through Instagram, Facebook and email.

As my first cannabis brand project, I designed email modules and social graphics for daily content, a 420 hotline and a crowdfunding campaign using Adobe Creative Suite and Klaviyo. I developed skills in understanding brand guidelines and expanding a brand’s universe.

I translated social concepts into visually cohesive and brand-aligned designs. This work contributed to the increase in post engagement by 40%, reach by 20%, profile visits by 59%, website clicks by 17%, Instagram comments by 200%, saves by 47% and story impressions by 86%.








420 hotline
In the spirit of the Waldos, this campaign invited the UE community to share their tallest tales of weed with friends. I utilized user-generated photos and audio to craft fun, engaging content for Instagram. It was a successful 420 celebration, filled with memorable tales and a love for great weed.

As part of Union Electric’s inaugural crowdfunding campaign, ‘Buy Weed Stock’ I created on-brand assets for email and social media. The campaign exceeded its $25k goal, raising $276k and gaining media coverage in Leafly, Benzinga and UPROXX.

In my six months with Union Electric, I built modular emails and created on-brand assets for the ‘Buy Weed Stock’ crowdfunding campaign. Email metrics significantly improved, with product orders from emails increasing by 14%, open rates by 23%, and clickthrough rates by 15%.
